This was Emma Lord's first book, and may I just say, it was SO perfect.
Let's start off talking about Pepper, because PEPPER! Gosh, she was so relatable. I remember my entire college application process being just as stressful as she described, and the pressure of going to an extremely competitive high school rang home as well. She was also just so quick! Some people are just meant to be on twitter.
And Jack, oh Jack! What a cutie pie. So class clown but also such a sweetie, and I 100% would make a move if he was real. I LOVED seeing him grow throughout the book, and I really loved his relationship with his twin brother (and can we give Emma some props for representation? Thank you!)
Pepper and Jack had me SQUEALING by the time this book ended. I mean, who doesn't want to fall in love through twitter? Because, hello, SIGN ME UP!
All in all, Tweet Cute is the perfect summer read for those looking to escape the current state of our world :) I can't wait to see more from this author in the future! For now, I'm going to go make a grilled cheese!
